Fairly common resident.

Alnus glutinosa with larva feeding in September/October in a usually fairly small mine on the underside of leaf away from the midrib.

Note: P. klemannella and P. froelichiella are very similar to each other. P. klemannella is always somewhat smaller, darker, and has a peculiar greenish-brasque-shining thorax - Lepiforum.
