Fairly common resident.

Alnus glutinosa with larva feeding in September/October in a large mine on the underside of a leaf, away from the midrib.

Note: P. froelichiella and P. klemannella are very similar to each other. P. froelichiella is always somewhat larger and lighter - Lepiforum.

Verification Grade Comment: Wingspan measurement essential.
