Rare resident of Herefordshire and more recently Worcestershire with a single record of an adult at Kingsford on June 5th 2021, occupied mines in October 2021 and adults in 2022.

Quercus spp. with larva feeding from July to September in a large, long mine on the underside of a leaf, sometimes extending from the midrib to the margin and strongly distorting the leaf.
