New to Britain in 2014 when mines were found at Buckingham Palace gardens, London. Spread rapidly in the South and East of the country, now reaching Warks., Worcs., and Staffs., September 2025.
Larvae mine in long leaved willows. particularly Crack Willow and hybrids, White Willow and Weeping Willow. The mine is relatively large with a strong central crease on the underside.
